IPIF GRANT APPLICATION

About the Grant

Insignia Pathway is a non-profit corporation committed to expanding the post-acute care workforce in the United States (“U.S.”).   The Insignia Pathway Immigration Fund (“IPIF”) is dedicated to removing the financial barriers that discourage foreign Registered Nurses (“R.N.s”) from obtaining visas to enter the U.S. and work for state licensed skilled nursing facilities.

The IPIF provides foreign R.N.s who are passionate about working with the skilled nursing resident population access to financial resources to help offset the cost of the nurse’s visa sponsorship, state licensure, travel to the U.S. and initial living expenses.  Please see the FAQ Section of the IPIF page of our website for further details about IPIF Grants.

Eligibility Requirements and Criteria for Application
  1. Only non-U.S. citizens may apply for this grant.
  2. At the time of application, applicants must have received an offer of sponsorship/employment for a U.S. immigrant (I-140) or non-immigrant (TN or H1-B) visa based on the position of R.N. from a U.S. state licensed skilled nursing facility OR a nurse staffing agency that will employ the applicant to work in a U.S. state licensed skilled nursing facility.
  3. Applicants must possess the required education to become licensed as a Registered Nurse in their intended U.S. state of employment.
  4. Applicants must commit to working as a Registered Nurse in a U.S. state licensed skilled nursing facility for a three (3) year minimum period.
  5. Applicants must complete this application in its entirety, including the information requested about the applicant’s nursing journey and financial need.
  6. The IPIF is intended to pay for expenses incurred by the R.N., not the sponsor/employer.  If your sponsor/employer has already agreed to pay for or reimburse you for any expenses, you should not list that expense in this application.
  7. An applicant may only be approved for one IPIF grant.  Applicants should submit an application for all categories of expenses incurred or anticipated on the same application.  If the exact amount of an expense is currently unknown, provide an estimated amount based on your research.
